Memorial Day...truly memorable.

There are a lot of things I love about living in Utah and most of them have something to do with the outdoors. Today for example was one of those perfect Utah days. The sky was blue with just the right amount of white fluffy clouds. After a week of off and on rain, everything was a beautiful shade of green. Because it's spring, the mountains are still snow caped, so the skyline was like a perfectly striped oil painting of blue, white, brown & green. The air was warm with a nice cool breeze. The kind of weather that allows you to stay outside for hours and never be too hot or too cold. I loved this day. It was hard to stay inside.

So we of course didn't stay inside. Reese got her first view of the entire valley from Squaw Peak where we went for a picnic, and a little bit of hiking.
