The fam...minus the Uibel clan. (Grandpa, Crew, Grandma, Kit, Brady, Erika, Mindi, Reese & Arnold). If you can't tell we were all squinting from the sun.
It wouldn't be a Nordfelt gathering if we didn't do something in the outdoors, so on Saturday we drove up to Estes National Park and hiked around Bear Lake. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time!

These next few pictures are my favorite. Reese had such a good time chasing the chipmunks. She just loves animals and seems to have no fear. She wanted so badly to catch this little guy.

This is a beautiful shot of Bear Lake that my little brother took. He's always had a gift for photography. I'm so glad he's getting back into it.

We had a hard time keeping Reese moving forward. She took every chance she could get to dig in the dirt.

It was a long drive to and from for little Reese. 8 hours in a car seat. I have to say, she was a trooper. I couldn't believe how well she traveled. On the way home I broke down and let her taste her first Oreo. There's nothing like a little Sesame Street, an Oreo and milk. Life is good.
She also loved holding her Uncle Kits hand while traveling. He was her back seat travel buddy. It was pretty cute.
